Marko Asmer clinched pole position for tomorrow's first race at Brands Hatch. The championship leader left it till late to take the top spot from Raikkonen Robertson Racing's Stephen Jelley. Jelley's team-mate Atte Mustonen also put in a late flyer to claim the second spot on the front row.
Jelley will start from third ahead of Sam Bird in the highest Carlin Motorsport runner. Jonathan Kennard and Rodolfo Gonzalez clocked the fifth and sixth fastest times respectively in the dry conditions.
Fortec's Sebastian Hohenthal, Carlin's Maro Engel and Niall Breen and Ultimate Motorsport's Esteban Guerrieri completed the top ten. Greg Mansell will start just outside the top ten in eleventh in the second Fortec. His brother Leo, who is yet to score a point this season, was way down in 26th.
Race 1 starts at 11.10am tomorrow morning.
