Provisional 2008 calendar announced

The Stephane Ratel Organisation (SRO) has announced the provisional 2008 calendar for the Lloyds TSB Insurance British F3 International Series. The season goes green with the traditional Easter weekend season opener at Oulton Park in March and ends with a grandstand finale at Donington Park in October, with some fantastic circuits and locations in between.

The circuits for British F3 remain unchanged from 2007 with visits to all the big UK names, along with the Grand Prix tracks of Monza (Italy), Spa Francorchamps (Belgium) and the street circuit in Romania's capital Bucharest, supporting the FIA GT Championship.

"On the back of such a successful calendar in 2007, it was about keeping a level of consistency for 2008. British F3 visits the same circuits but in a slightly different order, including the final two rounds being at Bucharest and Donington - it should be a spectacular sprint to the finish!" Stephane Ratel of SRO said.

As in previous years the Lloyds TSB Insurance British F3 International Series will be a 22 round championship with each of the eleven circuits hosting two races.
