Ericsson joins Fortec

Fortec motorsport announced that reigning Formula BMW UK champion Marcus Ericsson will step up to the British Formula Three championship with the team next year. Following his championship success, Ericsson has completed several test days as part of his winter programme in preparation for the 2008 championship season.

"I am really excited about next year. For me to be able to continue my close relationship and go into F3 with all the people at Fortec is just perfect. I know I have a lot to learn, but appreciate how lucky I am to be in such an excellent team where I can continue to grow as a driver and have the best possible chance to be competitive," commented Ericsson.
