Major joins Fortec

The Fortec Motorsport team announced that Philip Major will join the tema for the 2008 British F3 season. Major, from Canada, will enjoy his first race season outside North America next year with Fortec.

"Everything has gone very well so far," said 18-year-old Major. "Fortec is a very good team with very good people, and we have been working hard to get ready for the upcoming season. It's a huge jump in competition from FBMW to F3, but it is one I am really looking forward to.

"I am really looking forward to competing in Formula 3," Major said. "I think this is a very good step for my career and I am looking forward to 2008 already."
