Alguersuari wins Race 2 at Oulton Park

Carlin Motorsport driver Jaime Alguersuari has won race two in the British Formula 3 championship at Oulton Park. The Spaniard, who started from pole position, was closely follwed by Fortec Motorsport driver Marcus Ericsson and Sebastian Hohenthal.

Alguersuari took off from the start and had a healthy lead by half race distance only for a safety car period to bunch matters up again after Tandy ran into the tyre barrier at the chicane. 

There was confusion with the safety car and Hartley picked it up a lap too late and led the race to the finish only to be penalised afterwards and lose the win. 

Alguersuari therefore won the race from Ericsson and Hohenthal.
