Turvey claims first victory of the season!

Oliver Turvey has won race 1 at Oulton Park on Monday morning. The young Briton finished just ahead of Max Chilton and Atte Mustonen. Pole position man Jaime Alguersuari failed to finish the race. In the national class Carlin driver Andy Meyrick won the first race of the season, making it a double for Carlin Motorsport on Monday morning.

The first race at Oulton Park Park was an exciting one to watch in sleppery conditions. A bit of snow fell down on the track 30 minutes before the start of the race. Turvey made the best start and would not give up the lead anymore. He was closely followed by his team mates Alguersuari and Hartley.

With only three laps to go Hartley tried to overtake team mate Alguersuari but the pair crashed into each other. Both were unable to continue their races unfortunately.
