Qualifying abandoned due to rain

Qualifying for Round 5 of the 2008 British F3 International Series had to be abandoned after torrential rain made the circuit at Monza unsafe from the drivers to run at speed on. 

The start of the session was delayed but was red flagged after just six minutes after many cars were spinning in the treacherous conditions. 

Qualifying will be decided in the second session due to take place tomorrow at 11:40 (10:40 BST), with the fastest lap time counting for Round 5 and the second fastest time counting for Round 6.
