Chinose takes round 5 pole

Matteo Chinosi will start at the front of 28 car field for Round 5 of the 2008 British F3 International Series after completing his fastest lap just as the chequered flag came out. He will start the race ahead of Max Chilton, Sam Abay and Atte Mustonen after a rain hit session ended with a number of laps being disallowed for cutting the Monza chicanes.

Andy Meyrick, whose fastest time, which had given him overall pole position, had been disallowed, still heads up the National Class ahead of Salmon Al Khalifa and Kristjan Einar.

Qualifying positions for Round 6 are still being worked out by the officials and will be issued shortly.
