Steele joins Litespeed for Snetterton

Aaron Steele will be joining the Litespeed team for the ninth and tenth rounds of the championship at Snetterton next weekend. Having tested for the team at the Norfolk-based track at the beginning of the week, Steele is now prepared to join the squad for the next races of the season on 5 July.

With Litespeed having recently been linked with a Formula One bid, the team is again focussing full attention on its F3 efforts as Steele steps into a second National Class cockpit for the team.

"The team worked through the night to make sure the car was ready for the test," said Steele. "From the little running I had, I felt confident with the car; it was enjoyable to drive, although I need more time to establish exactly what I can achieve. I'm confident that we'll soon be right up there."
