Indonesian driver Satrio Hermanto will be joining the Litespeed British Formula 3 team for Rounds 15 and 16 of the championship at Silverstone this weekend. The former A1 Grand Prix driver will be racing the team's National Class car.
Having represented his country in A1GP, Hermanto's Silverstone outing will be his first in the British Formula 3 championship. "This is a new avenue for me and one that I am not only excited about but one that I relish," said the 25-year-old. "British F3 has carved out the careers of Ayrton Senna and Mika Häkkinen, both of whom I respect and admire - all I need to do now is follow their success."

"We are delighted that Satrio will be racing with us for the next couple of weekends," added Litespeed team principal Steve Kenchington. "He complements the international aspect of our driver line-up with Victor Correa from South America, Jay Bridger from Europe and now Satrio from the Far East. Throughout his career, Satrio has shown natural skill, track awareness and technical understanding.
"On behalf of everyone at Litespeed, I would like to welcome him to the team for an exciting couple of weeks and a possible long-term collaboration."
